For over 25 years plus, John Douglas Moroz has been involved as a Heritage Planning and Design Consultant for a host of building projects for Government Agencies, Provincially, Nationally and Internationally, as well as private Corporations and Tourism organizations.  As a result John has a passion for and keen understanding of "older" buildings and why people like them so much.

Larger older buildings, some of them being Designated under the Ontario Heritage Act, be they residential or commercial often have to change functions in order to survive.  Approximately 80% of all B & B's and Country Inns in Ontario could be characterized as Historic buildings in their own right.  They may  be larger former private residences, faactory buildings or other commercial structures which have been lovingly converted (some at great expense), to new uses and a new life, yet maintaining they ambience of a bygone era.

As a Professional REALTOR®; John Douglas Moroz has been providing services to this niche market since the beginning of his Real Estate career in 1996.  In 2000 a marketing alliance was formed with InnMarketPlace in the US to facilitate marketing INNs in Ontario to the US marketplace.  In 2002, with strong interest being developed in Ontario to better facilitate marketing Inns in the domestic marketplace; work began to establish a regional data base of Inns, B & B's and the Small Hospitality Industry (SHI); (feasibility studies, needs assessments, site selection, developing operational marketing strategies, evaluations, management and other operational processes).  INNS WE HAVE KNOWN!

In 2002 working with a major national real estate franchise, John Moroz undertook the necessary broker courses and at the same time researching  new and INNovative ways of assisting clients in selling and purchasing properties, based on new emerging models of Consulting.

In 2004 John Moroz became a Consumer - Certified Real EstateConsultant, from the National Association of Real Estate Consultants with a C-CREC designation.

In 2007 John Moroz joined the Marketing Team @ Sutton Group - Preferred Realty Inc., Brokerage, offering several options for effectively marketing properties throughout the Province of Ontario.
